On Sunday, the final home series for Indian Cricket team (2018) ends at MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chennai), dominating the victory over West Indies and providing the fans a thrilling output. Though the match seemed India would run away with an easy title win, things got harder in the last over bowled by the left-arm spinner Fabien Allen. As in the side of India, it has lost the captain Rohit Sharma (4) and KL Rahul (17) early. Putting visitors on the backfoot, Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant took charge of India’s chase. It was no different that West Indies have struggled to get down the Indian batsman in this series. Chasing down the target in the finale, India delivered a nail-biting clash with a brilliant notch-up of Dhawan with 92 and Pant contributing the victory with 58 runs.
Dhawan and Pant hit fine 50 apiece and added 130 runs for the third wicket. Riding on the fifties, a runoff lost Dhawan on the penultimate delivery made the match quite breathtaking towards the end, but pant kept his cool snatch off the last ball and took his team home.
The T20 match over’s as India (182/4) beats West Indies (181/3) by 6 Wickets to complete the series. Finally, ‘the man of the match’ name was scored by Shikhar Dhawan and ‘the man of the series’ name goes to Kuldeep Yadav. The match ends with bidding Adios to Windies, who starts their travel to Bangladesh and India moving to Australia.
