Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has started their preparation for the 2019 Indian Premier League (IPL 2019) with a five-day conditioning camp under the guidance of Head Coach Gary Kristen and Bowling Coach Ashish Nehra.
The camp primarily involves 8 RCB’s domestic players which include Ranji Trophy’s top run-getter Milind Kumar, Prayas Ray Burman, the 16-year-old Bengal prodigy who got into the limelight after bagging 11 wickets in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and Shivam Dube, who was grabbed by RCB for a whopping sum of Rs 5 crores in IPL auction 2019.
Eight players, including Uttar Pradesh Captain Akshdeep Nath, Mumbai all-rounder Shivam Dube, talented Delhi batsman Himmat Singh and seamer Kulwant Khejroliya, Tamil Nadu’s Washington Sundar and Karnataka’s Devdutt Padikkal, have already joined the camp.
The two coaches Kristen and Ashish Nehra will monitor the progress of the players and also perform a Yo-Yo test at conditioning camp to improve their fitness.
