Retired Indian cricketer Arun Lal and commentator after being diagnosed with jaw cancer are back as the Bengal coach for Ranji trophy 2020.
Arun Lal commented on the quality of the pitch is not good to play cricket which is arranged for such a big game(Ranji trophy finals) and also he said the curator has also performed a bad job, which is needed to be arranged 15 days before the game.
He also refused to speak to BCCI president Sourav Ganguly said they should take care of their own and it’s not my job. Arun Lal was awarded a Lifetime Achievement award from the Cricket Association of Bengal(CAB). He played a total of 16 Test matches and 13 ODI’s.
He was suffering from jaw cancer and is appointed as the mentor of the Bengal team by Sourav Ganguly. In 1986 Ranji trophy was a major figure. Speaking about the game, Arun says We don’t worry about the results and we focus on what we can do best.
He is satisfied and says we have played 3 sessions, 15 sessions have to be played. 63 years old, Indian cricketer says the board has to look into things, the ball is not bouncing and it is dusting on the first day.
