37 years old New Zealand Cricketer Lockie Ferguson’s reactions were exaggerated despite having very mild cold symptoms. It is completely understandable in light of global concerns with the COVID-19 pandemic.
The New Zealand fast bowler complained of cold symptoms after the match which is now suspended as per health protocol recommendations. He was quickly placed in quarantine at the team hotel and was tested for the Corona Virus. His test result came out negative after which he had to fly back to New Zealand alone the next day after his teammates did and also needed to be in on time because of the government’s travel restrictions effective Sunday mid-night.
After reaching Auckland on Sunday Cricketer Lockie Ferguson he said that he was happy to be home. He was also quick to mention his cold symptoms on Sunday. Nevertheless, he was happy to have stayed in the hotel room all by himself. He said that he did not face any challenges while staying one day extra in Sydney.
Cricketer Lockie Ferguson also said that he wasn’t as nervous as his fans were who were reacting after looking at the news because of his frequent recurrence of mild-cold symptoms from traveling around the world constantly. After being isolated for one day he felt nice when he woke up the next day. It was strange playing the game in front of empty stands and was disappointed about how the game ended up. He added he would see what are the plans going forward with the Aces boys tomorrow.
