On and off the field Captain Virat Kohli often loses his temper. During the recent India tour to New Zealand, Virat Kohli was questioned by a New Zealand Journalist about his on-field behavior. It accused of swearing at the crowd, besides giving aggressive send-offs to New Zealand captain Kane Williamson.
Off-the-field also Captain Virat Kohli lost his cool while a journalist questioned him about the details regarding what happened on the field. He had also rebuked a reporter, who questioned him about India’s batting failures in Wellington. Kohli has a history of losing his temper after India’s defeats in front of the Media. After losing a Test series in 2018 in England, Kohli lashed out a TOI journalist. Lal said everyone is targeting Kohli again and again and he doesn’t seem to understand why people want Virat to mellow down. Lal supported Kohli saying that everyone wanted an aggressive Kohli and now these are the very people, complaining about his behavior. Additionally, Lal also expressed that he liked Virat Kohli’s on-field presence.
New Zealand fast bowler Tim Southee defended the Indian captain, declaring that he is, indeed, a very passionate and energetic guy. New Zealand captain Kane Williamson also agreed that Kohli was passionate. The cricket fraternity should not look into this matter too much. Lal also said that the New Zealand match will not take away anything from Virat Kohli and he is still the best player in the world. If he was out of his form now, he will come strongly back soon.
